Highlights + Bites: Week of 8.20.12

1. explored Duke Farms (an estate 3x the size of Central Park. Doris Duke = baller.)
2. didn't believe the waiter at Remi that this fettucini was gluten free - that good.  
3. baked these French breakfast donuts, but mini + gluten free
4. napped
5. went on a sister-date to see Cirque du Soleil: Zarkana
6. topped vanilla gelato with a quick warm fruit sauce: nectarines, blueberries, honey, vanilla, + a touch of cinnamon

    1. Mini donut pan = new favorite toy. It's the little things, apparently.

  2. how did you modify the donut recipe to make it gluten free?

    1. I swapped Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Mix for the regular flour. Turned out perfect!
