Gluten Free in Newport, Rhode Island

On Thursday at 6 PM I will be jaunting off (via Jeep Wrangler) to Newport, Rhode Island for three days . And I need your help. I have big plans to eat my face off, wear cozy sweaters, swipe mini jars of jam from the hotel, and spend lots of time with a boy that I like a lot.

That first one? That's where you come in. See, I've never been to Newport, and would be devastated if I missed out on some fantastic gluten free food. So I ask - do you know of any seriously amazing gluten free restaurants/bakeries/etc in town? If the answer is yes, pretty please leave a comment and let me know. I'll be sure to report back!

  1. Diego's has GF options, as does O'Briens pub. Brick Alley I *think* has some, I bet Salvation Cafe would have some and there's a new bakery call Eva Ruth's in Middletown that is GF. There's also a little health food store on Bellevue called A Market that has tons of GF stuff. Oh, and Cilantro. I also hear that Pour Judgement on Broadway has GF Omission beer. Have fun, that's my hometown!
